Nadi Parikshan helps to identify the Vata Pitta Kaph imbalance and prognosis of diseases.
What is Nadi Parikshan?
Nadi Parikshan is an ancient & accurate method of pulse diagnosis. This is a technique in which the significance of pulse parameters rate, rhythm, volume, force, tension, character and hardness of the artery were analysed tridosha Vata-Pitta-Kaph in Nadi. Mainly Nadi Parikshan is done by analysing Strength (Bala), Velocity (Gati), Rhythm (regularity or irregularity) of the pulse beat.
The patient’s hand is slightly flexed at the forearm, and the practitioner gently touches the skin over the radial artery with their fingers. The index finger is placed nearest the thumb, and the other two fingers are placed next to it. The pulse rate and pulse pressure were studied across vata, pitta and kapha doshas. Take history by asking questions about health history, lifestyle, and current concerns related to health. Analyze the qualities of pulse to gain insights into doshas balance in the body to diagnose the root cause of health issues. Plan ayurvedic treatment protocol according to diagnosis.
